Are there any design limitations in Content King?

Whilst it is hard to say there are no design limitations, we can say that given its 'state of the art' Ingres database, there are no logical limitations to the way content is displayed.
As a designer, when you understand how Content King works, you will see easy solutions to most challenges.

Who owns my data?

You do.

How do you manage the email features?

Anyone who asks us to load users onto the database must sign a declaration that the people on the list have given their permission to be on that list.
In addition all emails sent by Content King have two unsubscribe features
- The first is a self managed user administration feature which allows the user to update their profile so that they can control which email types they receive.
- The second is an 'I do not want to be on any mailing list' option which is handled by Content King independently and prevents any emails going to that email address from this domain.
All emails are archived and logs kept of all activity which means Content King maintains the highest standard as far as spam management is concerned.

Where is my data stored?

All Content King data is stored in our 'state of the art' database. This is an Ingres database which is securely located on its own server behind a firewall.

Who owns the User Data?

All data we hold on your behalf, belongs to you. We have no interest in your users and will not disclose any personal information to third parties unless legally obliged to do so.

Are there any restrictions on the type of content?

We reserve the right to disable your web-site if we discover that you are hosting illegal content.

Can I buy a Licence

Content King is sold as a fully hosted web service ( cloud computing ). If you wish to take full advantage of the speed and flexibility of Content King we recommend that you host your entire system on the Content King servers.

What is Static-dynamic?

On any web-page you may have static output which you do not want anyone to change. Then you will have fully dynamic content eg list of stories read by this reader or content which is related to the reader or the current content; but typically the majority of the page is static for reasonable periods of time (hour/day) but you will want the ability to edit this content yourself. We call this static-dynamic.
Content King has been built with this unique, static-dynamic, feature which optimises the performance of the web-site whilst maintaining the flexibility of the dynamic content system.
